Ihabo Azzamo is a passionate designer who loves to tell stories through character design. Born and raised in Germany, Ihabo has always been drawn to the world of design and art. He pursued his passion by studying fashion design and Film.

With sixteen, he developed his first visual novel and started his Youtube drawing tutorial channel „Comicwelt“ with over 150K followers which changed later into „York & Ihabo“. 

2013 he graduated as a certified fashion designer at Gewerbliche Schule Metzingen and 2022 he achieved the diploma at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Since then he has been working as a freelancing Character artist and animation supervisor for clients like Sony Music Entertainment, East Fish Studios, PH Studio & OLM Digital.
Currently he is working with TOEI Animation as Animator on TV Shows like “One Piece“, “Dragon Ball Daima” & “Doremi“

Ihabo is particularly passionate about character design, and he sees characters as a way to tell stories and convey emotions. He loves the process of creating characters and giving them unique personalities, traits, and backstories. He believes that characters can evoke strong emotional responses in viewers, and can be used to communicate complex ideas in a fun and engaging way.

When he’s not designing, Ihabo enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring new cultures. He believes that these experiences enrich his creativity and help him to see the world from new perspectives.
